Screenings Under the Stars: Aloha Got Soul Documentary Film
Aloha Got Soul presents a documentary film screening at The Surfjack hotel in collaboration with international filmmakers from Brazil and New York. The documentary highlights an almost forgotten era of music in Hawaii when jazz, soul, disco and funk captured the imagination of our islands. The screening event will feature a talk story Q&A moderated by Daniel Ikaika Ito, musical performance, and a teaser edit of the documentary.
